We are certified installers of 3M Scotchgard and Ventureshield paint protection films.
Australia has a harsh climate and roads where stone chips and insect damage is commonplace. Application of a paint protection film (PPF) can protect your motor vehicle or motorcycle from these hazards. It is a clear film that is virtually invisible to the naked eye, and is tough enough to resist stone chipping.
PPF first evolved from the necessity to provide protection to helicopter rotor blades which were damaged by flying sand and other war-zone debris, and which had to be replaced at considerable expense. It is now commonly used in the racing industry where it protects vehicle paintwork and sponsor logos against flying stones and rubber eliminating the need to constantly re-spray racing vehicles. Engineers have since perfected the ultra violet stability of PPF, with the manufacturer guaranteeing the performance of the product against discolouring, cracking, peeling and bubbling. PPF is a removable product and has therefore been engineered to ensure that no paint shading occurs under the protective film, in comparison to the rest of the vehicle.
When it comes time to trade in your vehicle, the film can be easily removed, showing the paintwork in its original condition. Autografika uses only the highest quality materials - VentureShield and Scotchgard are products that meets the tough standards required in the Australian environment. There are cheaper films on the market, but we will not use an inferior product.
Typically Autografika installs a precision computer cut kit that includes the leading edge of the bonnet, guards, front bumper, headlights, wheel arches and top of the rear bumper. Additional protection is available for door sills, side skirts and lower door panels, and practically anywhere else accidental surface damage can occur. We can also provide full panel protection for clients who want to pay a little extra. And after we have protected your car or motorbike, ask us for a quote for your helmet, jetski, boat, bus, plane or prime-mover!
